We have so much to be grateful for… mindful movement, community, motivation, relaxation, laughter, friendships, supportive people, dreams, goals, products that make us feel good inside and out, our minds, bodies, and souls, nature, and YOU… we are grateful for you!

What are you grateful for?

We encourage you to take some time to reset and reflect on the things you are grateful for! Specifically, we’d love you to focus on your mind, body, and soul and hope that you have gratitude for those things! We have gifted you with four ways for you to focus on being grateful for your mind, body, and soul! And if you are grateful for other things like your family, friends, and home, we encourage you to practice our 4 Generosity Gifts with those people and in your favorite places!


Generosity Gifts

Here are some creative ways to show gratitude for your body, mind, and soul:

1) Yoga Asana:

Yoga Asana is the movement within the practice of Yoga. It can be a powerful way to get you stretching, moving, and showing your body gratitude! Adding 15 to 30 minutes of Yoga after every workout and within each day, can reduce stress, ease muscles, and promote circulation. We gift you with 15 Minutes of Yoga Asana from our AC Coach Jodie! 2) Guided Meditation:

Meditation is the practice where an individual uses techniques to train attention, focus on awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm stable state. Meditation comes in many different forms… from moving meditations to visualization, and we’re here for it all! After an athletic class or a busy day, a leisure Meditation can help slow the mind down and re-center you. Show your mind gratitude with this Meditation from our AC Coach Autumn!

3) Intention Setting:

Intention setting is a useful tool that can be used at any time! It's a commitment to what you want your journey to be about. When you are intentional about something, your focus is in the moment: who you are, what you do, why you do it. Consider setting an intention that allows you to put your mind at ease, fills your soul with love, and shows your body gratitude. Here are a few intentions you could set for yourself:

  • “Today I will have no self-judgement.”

  • “I will continue my week with gratitude.”

  • “I will listen to my body.”

  • “Anything that comes up will be okay.”

  • “Positivity will lead the way today.”

4) Self Guided Meditation:

Looking for a self guided meditation? Try visualization! AC Coach Morgan created this brief 10 minute Self Guided Meditation that you can come back to again and again! Show yourself gratitude for focusing on being the best version of you!

  • Start by finding a comfortable seat, maybe raising the hips with a folded blanket or bolster. You can also lay down if this helps you relax!

  • Allow a sense of ease and heaviness to overcome the body. Sink deeper into your seat or whichever position you chose. You might untuck the sit bones or re-adjust your arms if you are laying down.

  • Take five deep breaths breathing in for 5 seconds and out for 5 seconds. You might choose to lengthen the exhale by one second after each breath. This allows the nervous system to reset.

  • Visualize that you are on a path. It’s a beautiful day and the temperature in the air is just as you like it. Start walking down the path and notice all the beauty that surrounds you.

  • At the end of the path there are two people. The first person is someone you love. Show that person how grateful you are for them and allow a sense of warmth to wash over your body. Show this person unconditional positive regard and acceptance.

  • The second person is yourself. Take three deep breaths as you settle into visualizing the happiest version of you. Remind yourself how loved you are. Reflect on what you are grateful for within your life. Show yourself unconditional positive regard and acceptance.

  • Bring your hands to heart center. Thank yourself for all that you are and the journey you’ve been on. Bow the head with gratitude for all the positivity in your life!
