Let's Go To A Farmer's Market!
Spring is here and Summer is right around the corner! Which means one of our favorite activities will be in season, Farmers Markets!
There are many reasons why you should go explore your local Farmers Markets… They are a great outdoor activity for family & friends on a sunny day and they are also a perfect way to support your community and local businesses!
Farm to Market to Table!
Your local farmers have some of the best QUALITY fruits, veggies, and meats that you can buy. Local growers typically grow on a smaller scale that is more manageable for them. That means the veggies and fruits that you pick up at your local farmers markets were probably picked that morning! The fish you buy was most likely caught that morning or the day prior!
Now that is FRESH!
Another great thing about Farmers Markets is that they are usually spread out throughout the week. That means you and the vendors can attend most of the farmers markets in the area without missing any of the fun!
