Q&A With Our Cycle Coaches

Our coaches love to share in the fun when it comes to our Cycle Classes! They bring insight, enthusiasm, and energy to encourage you to be your best self in each class. Check out what each coach has to say!

Q: What is your favorite song, playlist, or type of music for cycling?

A: My new favorite cycle song is Move Slow By One True God. It has an amazing beat to do so much with. It's a great hill climbing song!

Q: If you had an emoji to describe you or your class what would it be?

A: 💪You're only going to get stronger, better, and faster when you come to my classes.

Q: What is your favorite color TIEM shoe and why?

A: I teach in the Green Camo TIEM Cycle shoe. I just love how unique they are and that they are a different color shoe than any I've seen out there! However, I'm in love with several of the colors!

Q: What's your favorite pre class snack or beverage?

A: I share a favorite snack in the Recipes And Snack Ideas Blog, take a look there!

Q: What is your favorite song, playlist, or type of music for cycling?

A: Music is what makes a cycle class for me! I love creating movements, choreography and drills, and having fun with ALL kinds of music! Those of you who know... MUSIC in my classes is what helps keep us moving, helps us to climb our hardest climbs, helps us to sprint our fastest sprints, helps us to go within and invest in our mind and soul, music helps us tap it back, dance on the bike, activate full body moves, have fun, and create whatever energy we are trying to gain! You can find all types of music in my classes... Bey vs Jay, Top Hits, Country vs Rock, Techno, Remixes, Hip-Hop, Pop, Rap, 80's, and the list continues! Q: If you had an emoji to describe you or your class what would it be?

A: FUN!!!! It's hard for me to pick one! So here are a few!! 💃🏼🚴🏼‍♀️🥁🎵💦🔥💪🏼💫

Q: What is your favorite color TIEM shoe and why?

A: I love them all!!! I have Black TIEM Cycle Shoes and White TIEM Training Sneakers! I love those colors because they are neutral and go with everything! I love ALL the other colors and would buy every single one of them!! They are super cute and they are the best Cycle & Training Shoe I have ever worn! Cycling with the TIEM Cycle Shoe makes the BIGGEST difference in your Cycle Class! TRUST ME!! They help with your form, your speed, your climbs, your choreography, your support, and of course your fashionable outfit!!

Q: How do you like to prep for your class?

A: When I am preparing to teach a class I like to think about the members who will be in my class! I love to add drills, choreography, challenges, songs, themes, current events/trends, and fun that they will love! Every single class is different and I love customizing each class with mindful movement, inspiration, humor, rewarding moves, great music, and so much fun! When I am taking a class, I like to make sure I have enough food and water! It's so important to make sure you fuel your body for class! I personally don't eat right before class because it's too much on my stomach. This is a personal preference for everyone and I recommend finding what's best for you! I love to also get myself pumped up and prepped for class by listening to good music, stretching, being mindful of what I want to accomplish during class, and inviting friends & family to experience class with me!

Q: What's your favorite pre class snack or beverage?

A: I share a favorite snack in the Recipes And Snack Ideas Blog, take a look there! Outside of those, I love to drink AC CAFE Coffee, Zipfizz, Celsius or the AC Ellivated Goods On Point Beetroot or Matcha Powders! Yum! I also will eat a Bhu Bar or Bite too if I need a little extra fuel before class!

Q: What is your favorite quote or mantra to describe your class or cycle style?

A: "With smiles on our faces..." we ride, sculpt, dance, laugh, sweat, grind, tap it back, push up, and have a blast!!! WHY, because if we are not having fun and smiling.. then why the heck are we doing it!? Moving our bodies and investing in ourselves should be fun! Class will fly by, you will have accomplished so many milestones, and you will want to come back again and again! Let's ride! See you soon with smiles on our faces!
